Basketball Game Preview: Drew vs. Midtown Knights

Drew will take on the Midtown Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Drew was beaten by Creekside 78-21. While losing is never fun, Drew can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Creekside is ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Midtown was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Anne-Pacelli on Saturday, taking the game 69-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

This is the second loss in a row for Drew and nudges their season record down to 14-9. As for Midtown, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
