Basketball Recap: Mountain Home Snaps 18-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Mountain Home's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-43 victory over the Wood River Wolverines. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-43 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Wood River saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tony Ambriz posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jake Marenda, who earned seven points.

Mountain Home's win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for Wood River, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Mountain Home will challenge Jerome at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wood River, they will square off against Minico at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
