Toms River East was forced to take a big defeat against they on Thursday, they got the better of them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Central Regional Golden Eagles with a sharp 13-1 win. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Toms River East moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Central Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Toms River East will host Southern Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Donovan Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Griffins will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
