Basketball Recap: Marion Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Marion won against Greene County on Saturday with 39 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Marion Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-37 victory over the Greenville Tigers. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly two points.

Marion's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. As for Greenville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Marion has already played their next match, a 42-31 victory against Billingsley on the 10th. As for Greenville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monroe County at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
