Basketball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Valle Catholic Warriors and fell 56-27. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Warriors are ranked 209th).

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Valle Catholic, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Hancock and Wright City will face off at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Valle Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge Lesterville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
