It was a good run, but Rich Township unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raptors of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20.

Rich Township's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-8.

Looking ahead, Rich Township will head out on the road to face off against Crete-Monee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Homewood-Flossmoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
