Soccer Game Preview: Fultondale vs. American Christian Academy

The Fultondale Wildcats will square off against the American Christian Academy Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fultondale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Fultondale fell victim to Westminster School at Oak Mountain and their airtight defense last Thursday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Fultondale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Westminster School at Oak Mountain are ranked 29th).

Meanwhile, American Christian Academy kept a clean sheet against Paul W. Bryant on Friday. They put the hurt on the Stampede with a sharp 10-0 victory. American Christian Academy haven't had any issues with Paul W. Bryant recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

American Christian Academy's offense was hitting Paul W. Bryant from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Charlie Olsen led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

American Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Fultondale, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-4.
