Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Franklin and Ingraham have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Quakers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Quakers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lucy Watkins went supernova For Ingraham., getting seven digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Watkins a new career-high in assists (15). Another player making a difference was Valeria Duarte-Bianchi, who had ten digs and two assists.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Ingraham, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

As of now, neither Franklin nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
