Basketball Game Preview: Kent-Meridian Royals vs. Decatur Golden Gators + How To Watch

Kent-Meridian has gone 6-1 against Decatur recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Royals are taking a road trip to take on the Golden Gators at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for Kent-Meridian and six for Decatur dating back to last season.

Kent-Meridian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 67-56 to Kentlake on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Decatur had to suffer through an 87-44 loss at the hands of White River.

Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kent-Meridian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Kent-Meridian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Decatur when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 66-61 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Golden Gators' Dominique Degrate, who went 9-for-14 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds.
