Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Merrill). They never let the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Vandals, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Merrill pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Merrill will take on Coleman at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they will square off against Gladwin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
