Soccer Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

If Taft was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Tilden last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Canarsie Wolfpack by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Canarsie, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canarsie, they will square off against Springfield Gardens at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield Gardens will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Canarsie surely won't give up without a fight.
