Volleyball Game Preview: Lebanon Tigers vs. Covenant Christian Warriors

The Lebanon Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Covenant Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Lebanon is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Guerin Catholic just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since September 4th.

While Lebanon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Guerin Catholic's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Covenant Christian beat Warren Central 2-0 on Saturday.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Covenant Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Lebanon was able to grind out a solid victory over Covenant Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 2-0. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
