Volleyball Game Preview: Placer Hillmen vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

The Placer Hillmen will venture away from home to challenge the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Placer came up short against Nevada Union on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Hillmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Placer took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges came up short against Nevada Union on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 24-26, 25-18.

Placer's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Twelve Bridges, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Placer couldn't quite get it done against Twelve Bridges in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Hillmen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
