After flying high against Gideon on Wednesday, Holcomb came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the South Pemiscot Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 14-8. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Holcomb's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for South Pemiscot, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-8.

As of now, neither Holcomb nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
