Monique Phoenix has led Lancaster in steals on the season and she led the team again on Friday. Phoenix wasn't messing around, putting up eight points and eight steals. The contest was her fourth straight with three or more steals. She also put up a block, which washer first of the season.

Phoenix and Lancaster will be playing at home against Cedar Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers had to take a loss when they last met the Longhorns, but Phoenix had little to do with the loss: she posted nine points and three steals. Can she match (or beat) that performance?
