West Lincoln waltzed into their match on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Loyd Star Hornets by a score of 48-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

West Lincoln's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Loyd Star, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Lincoln will welcome Bogue Chitto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bogue Chitto has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
