Eastside Catholic had won four straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 11-6 to make it five. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Ingraham Rams. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Ingraham, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 2.63 runs allowed.

For Ingraham's part, Harry Hayes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Hayes is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
