With a playoff game on the line, the Kirksville Tigers rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They strolled past the Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 67-49. Winning may never get old, but Kirksville sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Moberly's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Doubrava, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Rucker, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Kirksville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Moberly, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.
