Softball Recap: Squalicum Storm vs. Lynden Lions
Squalicum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lynden Lions, falling 19-6. The Storm were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Addy Hauber was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Carmen Rodriguez, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Squalicum's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lynden, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.
Coming up, Squalicum will head out on the road to challenge Blaine at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
