After only two runs in their last matchup, Collierville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ripley on Friday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Collierville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Ripley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season.

Collierville will look to defend their home field on Monday against Cordova at 4:30 p.m. The Wolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ripley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Halls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ripley's pitchers better be ready for this one: Halls has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
