Baseball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Jordan lost against Leesville Road back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons came up short against the Pride, falling 13-4.

Jordan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Jones, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Leesville Road, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will take on Millbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Leesville Road, they will face off against Wake Forest at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pride are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
