The San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots made easy work of the Midland Christian Mustangs on Monday and carried off a 16-1 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by nine runs or more this season.

Will Sternenberg was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, San Jacinto Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Matthew Richard, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. What's more, Richard posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Sy Potter was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.

San Jacinto Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Midland Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: San Jacinto Christian Academy beat the Mustangs by a score of 23-0 later that day.
