If Cordell wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Carnegie, they should've done a better job of containing Andrew Mossman. The Wildcats walked away with a 56-44 win over the Blue Devils on Monday with plenty of help from Mossman, who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points. He has become a key player for Carnegie: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 25 points, but 7-11 otherwise.
Another player making a difference was Brandon Chalepah, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 14 points. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played.
The victory got Carnegie back to even at 11-11. As for Cordell, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
Carnegie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cordell, they will be playing at home against Watonga at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
