Christ Presbyterian Academy had won two straight games and Mally Morrell did her part to make it three on Friday. The Lions came out on top against the Sevier County Smoky Bears by a score of 2-0 for which the team can thank Morrell, who had 13 digs and four assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

Christ Presbyterian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sevier County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Christ Presbyterian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against North Oldham on the 22nd. As for Sevier County, they will face off against Jefferson County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
