Basketball Recap: William Byrd Terriers vs. Hidden Valley Titans

They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hidden Valley Titans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Terriers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-33 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hidden Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Tanis, who posted 18 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Tanis has scored at least a third of Hidden Valley's points. Audrey Pearson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.

William Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Hidden Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
