Baseball Recap: Berlin Takes a Loss

Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Westfield Area Pioneers, falling 23-1.

Berlin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Toby Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Miller has brought in this season.

Berlin now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Westfield Area, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

While Berlin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
