There's no place like home for the Middletown Middies, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against Colerain on Wednesday as Middletown made off with a 57-31 win. That looming 57-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Middletown yet this season.

Middletown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamia Jones, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taylor Daniels, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Middletown's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Colerain, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middletown will take on the Cougars at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Colerain, they will head out on the road to square off against the Thunderhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakota East is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
