Grandview Heights waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the East Tigers get on the board and left with  a   12-0  win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  22-6  on Thursday.
 Ejheni Mdivanian was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news, Grandview Heights got a  massive  performance out of  Madelyn Smith, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.  Caroline Harwood was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases and three  runs.
 Grandview Heights  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .846. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in four consecutive  games.
Grandview Heights' victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for East,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview Heights will take on Buckeye Valley at 5:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for East, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Africentric Early College at 5:30  p.m.  on  the 29th.
