Academy of Science and Innovation had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Classical Magnet Gladiators. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ravens also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Academy of Science and Innovation never let Classical Magnet on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.
Academy of Science and Innovation's record is now 9-4. As for Classical Magnet, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Looking ahead, Academy of Science and Innovation will challenge Bulkeley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Classical Magnet, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cheney Tech at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
