Football Recap: Morse Skates Past Santana with Ease + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Morse walked away with it. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 38-0 win over the Santana Sultans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Morse was led to victory by Ethan Esmailian and Alex Smith. Esmailian threw for 221 yards and one touchdown on only 19 passes, while Smith rushed for 57 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Esmailian a new career-high in rushing yards (24).

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Morse was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 249 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Morse's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Santana, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Morse will square off against Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
