Baseball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

If Colfax was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Liberty on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Asotin Panthers on Tuesday, falling 10-3. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 11-8.

Colfax saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Inderrieden, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Asotin, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Colfax is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Asotin will square off against rival Freeman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
