Basketball Recap: Twin Valley South Panthers vs. Yellow Springs Bulldogs
The Twin Valley South Panthers came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Yellow Springs by a score of 61-50 on Tuesday. The victory was just what Twin Valley South needed coming off of a 61-34 loss in their prior matchup.
Twin Valley South got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trent Ray out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Jandon Ankrom was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Twin Valley South's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11. As for Yellow Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.
Twin Valley South will square off against the Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Yellow Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Miami Valley will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
