Basketball Game Preview: Saucon Valley Panthers vs. Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions

Saucon Valley is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Lincoln Leadership Academy is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Saucon Valley Panthers duke it out with the Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Saucon Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Northern Lehigh on Friday as Saucon Valley made off with an 81-61 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 612th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Leadership Academy was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Maritime Academy Charter 82-49.

Lincoln Leadership Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Saucon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
