Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Summit Spartans on Tuesday. The Admirals have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Franklin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Summit, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome Harpeth at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Admirals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Summit, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Nolensville at 5:00 p.m. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
