It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Park Vista can now relate to. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellington Wolverines on Wednesday. The Cobras' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Josh Friedlander was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Park Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Wellington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

While Park Vista had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
