Bernie can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over the South Pemiscot Bulldogs. That's two games straight that Bernie has won by exactly ten runs.

Mikalyn Kirkwood made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Kirkwood was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run and six RBI.

In other batting news, Bernie got a massive performance out of Kealea Powell, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Macie Botsch, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Bernie now has a winning record of 7-6. As for South Pemiscot, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
