Basketball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 64-57 to the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons. The Wampus Cats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gryphons earlier this season, when they won 71-63.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Little Rock Southwest, they moved to 9-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conway has already played their next game (against North Little Rock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Little Rock Southwest is taking a road trip to face off against Cabot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Little Rock Southwest is facing Cabot at the right time seeing as Cabot is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
