Basketball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans vs. Sterling Jets

The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans came into Friday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 38-32 win over Sterling on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Brogan Dunlap continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's points. Another player making a difference was Brennen Vaughan, who scored three points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Sterling still got an impressive performance from Colin Wambold, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Sterling, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Tri County the next time they take the court. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will host the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jets will host them on Friday.
