Daniel Boone faced Bearden in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Trailblazers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Trailblazers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

T J Leonard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
