Volleyball Game Preview: Estill County Engineers vs. Powell County Pirates + How To Watch

The Estill County Engineers will take on the Powell County Pirates in a tournament on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Estill County turned things around against Owsley County on Monday. They put the hurt on the Owls / Lady Owls with a sharp 3-0 win. The Engineers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Powell County made easy work of Morgan County on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Estill County's victory bumped their record up to 5-21. As for Powell County, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Estill County might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Powell County in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Engineers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
