Soccer Game Preview: Palmview vs. Martin

The Palmview Lobos will head out on the road to face off against the Martin Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Palmview's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Roma with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Martin had just enough and edged Roma out 3-2 on Tuesday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Gladiators are ranked 570th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Palmview's record now sits at 3-7-2. As for Martin, their record now sits at 8-4-3.

Palmview came up short against Martin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Palmview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
