Hershey has gone 7-1 against Maxwell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hershey Panthers take on the Maxwell Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Hershey is looking for their season's first win.

Last Tuesday, Hershey came up short against South Loup and fell 48-40. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while South Loup are ranked 103rd).

Maxwell fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 59-49 win over Arapahoe on Tuesday.

Maxwell's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Hershey, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Hershey took their win against Maxwell in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 56-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hershey since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
