Basketball Recap: Fort Defiance Comes Up Short

Fort Defiance lost against Wilson Memorial back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fort Defiance Indians fell 61-48 to the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets.

Fort Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Wilson Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

Fort Defiance and Wilson Memorial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Fort Defiance (ranked 165th) will meet Waynesboro (ranked 345th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wilson Memorial will challenge Riverheads at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday up 168 places (72 vs. 240).
