Football Recap: Mountain Range Mustangs vs. Northglenn Norsemen

Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 41-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northglenn Norsemen. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Although Mountain Range took the loss, they still got scores from Brice Stillings, Cameron Williams, Kaydin Hansing, and Jon Echelmeier.

Mountain Range wouldn't let Northglenn keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Jayden Ellis, Jayden Pattenaude, and Paul Kershaw picked up one apiece. Ellis also set a new season high mark in total tackles with 12.

Josiah'Ez Stevenson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 270 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry for Northglenn. Stevenson's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Northglenn, their record is now 4-5.

Mountain Range wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 41-28 victory against Lakewood on the 1st. As for Northglenn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-9 loss against Overland on the 1st.
