Basketball Recap: Lakeville South Takes a Loss

Lakeville South was the 76-47 winner over Rosemount when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakeville South Cougars took an 82-78 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rosemount Irish. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Irish are ranked 96th).

Lakeville South has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. The win (which was Rosemount's third in a row) raised their record to 9-14.

As of now, neither Lakeville South nor Rosemount have any future games scheduled.
