Recap: Meek Tigers vs. Lynn Bears
Even though the Lynn Bears scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, the Meek Tigers still came out on top. Meek managed a 66-62 victory over Lynn. Meek didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Lynn lost, one person who can't be blamed is Braylen Roberts. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Roberts hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 15 straight games. Cole Kelly was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meek's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Lynn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meek won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Winston County on January 27th. Winston County is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. Lynn on the road again on Tuesday and play against Curry at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. Curry has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
