Basketball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warwick Wildcats. The match marked the Middie Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Warwick, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Middletown will challenge Colonie Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
