Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran dropped their record down to 12-10 on Saturday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They lost 10-2 to the Bellmont Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cadets have suffered since May 2nd.

As for Bellmont, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-13. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games.

For Bellmont's part, Oliver Werling was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Werling's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cameron Friedt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
