Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Hightower's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fort Bend Hightower had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Fort Bend Clements Rangers. For the Hurricanes, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Rangers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-102) Fort Bend Hightower actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 13-25, 15-13.

Ta'Niyah Johnson paced Fort Bend Hightower's offense, picking up 24 kills. Johnson got some help from Kelcey Armstead and her 29 assists. Rockeria Rasberry and Monica Daniel kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Fort Bend Hightower's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Fort Bend Clements, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.
