Round Rock Westwood won the last time they faced Manor and Wade Allen did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors claimed a resounding 49-14 victory over the Mustangs with plenty of help from Allen, who rushed for 293 yards and four scores while picking up 16.3 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camden Huff, who rushed for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 144 yards on ten of 19 attempts. Andre Terry was another key rusher, rushing for 118 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Round Rock Westwood's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Manor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Round Rock Westwood will face off against Hutto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hippos will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manor, they will venture away from home to square off against Round Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
